Brett Favre-The Hamlet of Football
Tony Kornheiser came up with the perfect description for Brett Favre. Today on PTI Tony referred to Favre as Hamlet and followed that by saying that he [Tony] is waiting for Favre to start barking signals in Danish. Absolutely perfect. Rather than insult your intelligence by explaining why it makes sense I encourage anyone who didn't get it to read the play.
Agree? Disagree?

I never read Hamlet nor do I want to. Favre is a football player and is a football player that still has something to give to an NFL football team. What's wrong with him wanting to do that. His success this year will not be wheather he wins a Superbowl but by if he makes his team better. And from what I've seen from him the past decade he will make 8-9 out of 10 teams better in the NFL.
Nothing wrong with him making aliving or trying to make a team better-never said there was. I do have a problem with his To retire or not to retire act that put the packers in a bad situation-which i think they handled poorly. My biggest beef is with the situation that aaron rodgers has been put in-which never would have happenned if Favre had been able to make up his mind
All I did was take the reference made by Kornheiser and say how I thought it was great.
With all that being said I am a fan of Favre and hope that he has another year or two of Pro Bowl football left in him
